Rinyukai Indonesia - Super Koi Show 2012

A year ago, after sending some kois to participate the 4th Asia Cup Koi Show on 21&22 May 2011, Felix Denanta feel so much fun and his heart was touched by the hospitality and warm welcome of all koi hobbyists from local Malaysia, Singapore, some Indonesia folks and also the show committee.
This was the first big major prize for him as he got GC that time with his Pandora. Afterwards, he took some major prizes too in some major koi shows. And recently, he got RGC at the 43th All Japan Combined Nishikigoi Show 2012 with a kohaku from Sakai Fish Farm. :biggrin1:

As he came back home from Malaysia that time, he was triggered to do something for the kois world, something that could bond the relationship, either hobbyists, dealers, or koi lovers. He intensely made communications onto some koi sifus at local and Japan. The koi club he interested to jump in is the Zen Nihon Rinyukai, which as long as we know is one of the largest and oldest club in Japan. At last he made it as he appointed formally as the chairman of Rinyukai Indonesia and Hendrawan Sudarpo as Vice Chairman. Hendrawan Sudarpo is one of heavyweight class hobbyist also. This appointment will be the 1st formal appointed Rinyukai club outside of Japan. :rockon:

A brief history of Zen Nihon Riyunkai - Japan

Established on 1964 with the First Chairman Mr. Takashi Kuwabara. Head Office was on Urawa-shi Saitama, Japan. There were about 100 member which mostly are koi hobbyists from Kitakanto, Saitama and Tokyo area. On that time, they already published Gekkan Rinyu buletin and they had annual program as follow :
- Young koi show on autumn (May)
- Koi show on winter (November)
- Tour Koigari at Niigata
- Pond visit (August)

At Oct 1970, the club held the 1st Nishikigoi Zen Nihon Riyunkai.

August 1975, the buletin name changed to be Koikoi

October 1980, the club continue held the 10th Nishikigoi Zen Nihon Riyunkai at top floor of Isetan Department Store, Shinjuku, Tokyo.

April 1984, Mr. Shigekatsu Takahashi appointed as the 2nd vice chairman and the head office moved to Ginza, Tokyo.

September 1986, Koikoi buletin had been stop and new buletin named Nishikigoi had been launched.

Februari 1991, Nishikigoi bulletin name changed to be Gekkan Nishikigoi

April 2000, membership of Zen Nihon Rinyukai all over Japan increased. The number of membership over than the year before as many as around 350 member.

February 2008, Mr. Shigekatsu Takahashi as Honorary Chairman appoint Mr. Takashi Sugita as the 3rd chairman. Zen Nihon Riyunkai considered as one of big club beside of Zen Nihon Airinkai.

FYI, there will be 20% discount for fish entry fee who whom enter their kois on Early Entry Registration period which lastly on 3 weeks before the show fish entry, which means on 25th May 2012.

My mistake, I was wrong seeing my notes :shocked:. Correction to the Early Entry discount is for entry before 2 weeks before the fish entry which means the last day for Early Entry discount will be on 01 June 2012. :yo:

Yes indeed we can do it. We can start discuss it once we have fish entry and we have some contenders.

Infact, for the real, we are designing a program that the show judge will explain why a koi winning the title. This will be on the "Super" Gala Dinner for the major prize winners which mostly will be on the prestigious Ritz Carlton's ballroom. This Gala Dinner will be designed to close you up and to know better with almost all famous Japanese koi breeders. It will be table dinner and on each table will have at least 1 or 2 Japanese judge. We are still working out to have interpreters so you all can ask and have chit chat with them up close and personal :becky: If anyone beside the winners wish to take part on the gala dinner, there will be tickets for sale. So everybody can join and have dinner and fun together as we'll have some Japanese games work to play together :hippie:

I think a formal discussion with photo is more suitable for me. no need for GC but its very nice let say 3 fish in one vat than the judge start explain.

We are apologies as we are still finishing up everything to present the best for all koi hobbyists, koi lovers and koi community, the www.rinyukai.net (http://www.rinyukai.net) is still under construction because there's failure to connect the website and the ISP technician is doing his job to fix this.

As for online registration, the software actually on "ready" state. However we are still discussing which judging system to be applied on this show. We probably run the world class standard which refer to Japanese judging standard. Once we settle about this then the online registration with its rules and regulations will be announced soon enough. Please be patient a little bit brother...:music:

There are some question concerning participating the SuperKoiShow from koi hobbyists from abroad. They want to participating the koi show, but they are thinking about freight cost, handling, and so on.

So we are just trying to give an option to be considered. How if the international koi hobbyist outside of Indonesia buy the koi from Indonesia's respectable koi importir/exportir or koi dealers, and then enter the koi to the show? After the show, the koi will be sent to wherever country you are. So this would be one time freight cost, just like you buy the koi from Japan. This idea has been agreed to some of the koi hobbyists.

As the show has been held on last 15th-17th June 2012, please allow me on behalf of all Rinyukai Indonesia Super Koi Show 2012 committee, THANK-YOU all of you who support, visit, and give us the spirit to run the show as the best we could.

We specially thank to International participants that send their lovely jewels to the show and gave some great results. We do really appreciate this
And ofcourse International visitors and participants, like bro David Soon, Bro Max, Vinson Chua, Bro Denning, Bro Melvin, Bro Wilson, Bro Ratha, Mr. Patrick Lim, Bro Ng & team of Yamakoshi Mura, Philipine Cebu Koi Club, and the others that I can't mention one by one. We thank you from the deep of our heart for such support!!! You are SUPER...and we value the friendship as a super value which wouldn't gone by time.

The show was bring so much fun, so much joyness, adds some new face and new names of the koi lovers which entering the show...and we are so glad with that as one of the aims of the show accomplished.

Last but not least, please apologise us if there's anything that didn't please or fulfill what you wanted or what you expected. We had so much learn at this 1st show, and we'll try to bring the show better and better again in the time ahead.
