Swimming pool tiles

Hi I'm new to Koi hobby,
Just wondering if i use Swimming pool light blue color tiles 10cm(w) x 15cm (L)for the bottom of the pond and just cement for walls with black paint. do you think this will work ?

Pond will be 2.5m (w), 8m (L), depth 2m to 1m. Water fall at the end of the 2m depth, skimmer at the other side. 3 bottom drain to filer. :P

is that tiles they use at the bottom or is it cement?

It is cement with blue paint.
