The 2nd International Koi Show, Malaysia May 2008

Show tersebut di atas, yang merupakan kelanjutan dari The 1st yang diadakan di Jakarta kemarin, rencananya akan diadakan pada bulan May tahun depan di Kuala Lumpur dan mungkin akan dinamakan juga sebagai 'Malaysian Open', terbuka juga untuk peserta dari luar Malaysia.

Seperti yang disetujui pada regional meeting se Asteng di TMII kemarin,
setelah Malaysia, show international berikutnya (2009) akan digelar di Singapura setelah itu Brunei atau Thailand, baru mungkin balik ke Indonesia lagi yang tidak harus diselenggarakan di Jakarta. Mungkin di Surabaya atawa Bandung dsb.

Waa...Pak Ricky, you are certainly running faster than I am. Yes, we are planning the show right now and is targetting late May 2008. As the show carries the Prime Minister Challenge Trophy, we will try to get our Prime Minister to grace our show again. So, timing may change a little subject to his confirmation.

Also, similar to earlier 2 shows, we will be inviting 8 to 9 Japanese breeders to be the koi judges. In the past shows we had Kentaro Sakai, Ryuki Narita, Fujio Oomo, Masato Tanaka, Kondo, Nogami, Maruyama, Shigeru Dainichi, Takayoshi Omosako, Minuma and etc. Our favorite Japanese koi magazine buddy will definitely be covering the show as well.

We are also expecting major participation from top players from Thailand, Japan, Brunei, Singapore and also of course from Indonesia. The competition will be an intense one, as the Japanese hobbyists who lost in the last round in our show has vowed to bring his best koi to win the prestige prizes. A top Thai hobbyist has also committed to compete with his best, as he wanted more interesting show. The Singaporean hobbyists and Brunei are already loading top koi here, getting ready for Battle Royale.

We hope to organise one of the best show outside of Japan but this will require lots of planning and hard work. Wished we have the same enthusiasm from hobbyists who have helped with the ZNA JKT show. Anyway, we will do what we can to make this a grand koi party for everyone.

Thanks for your reconfirmation about the Show in May and I know that the Show will be just great and grandeur. Also noted that the top dogs in this region will enter their best koi to the Show and hope that some entries from Indonesia could also participate in and we will be giving some other supports too. Jakarta Chapter will produce new vats to be used for this Show as discussed on last meeting and deliver them in timely manner.

wah ajang promosi yg bagus tuc utk ikan ikan koi asal indonesia...........?, jika indonesia mengirimkan wakil bukankah akan seru.............sekalian promosikan ikan ikan koi asal indonesia di mata penggemar luar negeri.

sukur sukur para petani koi di tanah air dapat ikut aktif, utk sarana luar negerinya jika tak salah ada bagian marketing luar negeri dari Departemen Perikanan yg bisa di ajak bicara utk hal hal seperti ini.

ayo siapa mau..............?, siapa tau dari Departemen terkait ada yg baca tulisan ini wah seru nic.......

Masalah promosi ikan2 lokal kita, termasuk utk ikut show di LN, juga sudah disosialisakan oleh Dirjen Pemasaran Hasil Ikan Dept Perikanan dan Maritim (nama instansi komplitnya lupa) Pak Martani Husaini waktu dia hadir di closing ceremony show kemarin dan dia menjanjikan kemudahan2 serta koordinasi dengan instansi terkait lainnya. Kita, para koi club, tinggal diminta buat surat saja. Jadi petani bisa mendelegasikan masalah ini ke koi klub2 yang mereka percayai utk pengiriman ikan pada waktu kontes. Gampangnya, hobbyist2 di koi klub beli saja ikan2 produksi mereka dan kirim ke show di Malaysia misalnya. Utk pengiriman ikan ke Malaysia bisa dikoordinasikan dengan Jakarta Chapter dan KOIS, apabila berminat.

Jadi platformnya sudah dimapankan Oom, tinggal tagih janji ke pak dirjen saja, he he he.
