MII Bottom Drain

Hi,

during the last show in Semarang we have introduced our new (Made in Indonesia) bottom drains. All parts are machined with high precision and welded together. The bottom drain is suitable for pipes up to 4 inch and it is equipped with airation on the top. The bottom drain is also available without airation. Please see the photos for further details

the airated model is 900.000 Rp., the model without is 650.000 Rp.

Pipa ke filter ukuran 4 inch. Pipa untuk pompa udara = 1/2 inch. Kalau mau beli banyak bisa turun harganya :mrgreen:

Hi Pak,

sok hitam di samping untuk kembali air kotor ke filter. Pipa putih di dalam keluar di bawah (ada knie 1/2") ke pompa udara.

we worked on this product and have now the latest version available. All materials are now in grey colour and we do not need to paint the BD anymore :D BTW, the uniring on the top is also available from us. The dia. is 1/2 inch and the price per meter is Rp. 125.000,-- incl.the stainless steel rod inside :D

Sven, it's quite innovative product but not at all something new. You may extend the pipes to the water surface to be a skimmer so that could be a 2-in-1 product (BD + Skimmer). Your previous 'floating' skimmer (adjusting to the water surface level) could also be applied, I reckon. Of course with the same price if possible. Nevertheless, thanks for your endless efforts to try to make hobbyist's life easier. :) :)

Bro, it is not possible to combine aerating BD+SS. Since the bubble will drive "away" the the floating debris.

Quite possible, just turn off the aeration. It is not mandatory to have an 'aerated' bottom drain :)

Sorry om ada sedikit pertanyaan :
-Pipa yang ke bawah terhubung ke Filter (kalo gak salah), terus yang ke samping kemana ya, atau yang ke bawah buat backwash (kalo ya, apa perlu sebab kolam kan tdk pernah dikuras habis) dan yang ke samping ke filter ?
-Bagaimana cara membersihkan aerostone yang ada di atas BD, sebab jika sdh lama (setahun) kadang suka mampet karena ditumbuhi lumut ? Diangkat atau nyelam..? Sorry om masih agak binun...
